MONKEY THERAPY FOR NEURODIVERSITY

Coaching focused on ADHD and autism

I was inspired to become an ND coach by my own personal journey with neurodiversity. As a growing number of people have done, I found out as an adult that many of the traits that make me unique can be attributed to my neurodivergent brain.

ND traits present a spectrum of gifts and challenges. Now, I help clients recognise and strengthen their own internal resources as well as minimise the challenges that ND traits can bring. ND coaching draws from ND-focused CBT, IFS, and ASD Specialist and ADHD Clinical Trainings.

Because neurodiversity does not often travel alone, I incorporate therapeutic practices for coexisting mental health issues. I meet clients wherever they are — helping to address psychological challenges, improving confidence, self-acceptance, self-reliance, and sense of inner peace.

A different view

Honouring your gifts, softening the friction

Neurodivergent traits present a spectrum of both gifts and challenges. Rather than forcing you into neurotypical moulds, Monkey Therapy helps you recognise and strengthen your own internal resources while minimising the friction that ND traits can bring.

Because neurodiversity rarely travels alone, we also address coexisting mental health challenges — meeting you wherever you are to build confidence, self-acceptance, self-reliance, and a lasting sense of inner peace.

What to expect in sessions

How Monkey Therapy supports neurodivergent brains

  • ADHD & autism clinical expertise. Drawing on ASD Specialist and ADHD Clinical Trainings to create practical scaffolds for executive function, time perception, and sensory regulation that fit how your brain actually works.

  • ND-informed CBT & IFS. Using adapted Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore unmasking, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy with curiosity rather than criticism.

  • Addressing coexisting challenges. Untangling the anxiety, depression, perfectionism, or trauma that frequently build up from living in a world built for neurotypical nervous systems.

  • Strengthening self-trust & agency. Shifting from chronic self-blame to self-compassion, helping you design daily routines and communication styles that work with your rhythm.
